German Classes

German classes for absolute beginners are offered by Beutenberg Campus e.V. The costs are subsidized by the MPI-CE if you participate in at least 80% of the course units.

  • An A1.2 course starts on June 16, 2020. You can register and find further information here.
  • An A1.4 course starts on June 15, 2020. You can register and find further information here.

More advanced courses are offered at the MPI-CE by Julia Giser (ÜAG Jena). If you want to move on from an A1 Beutenberg course, please take advantage of the A1-2 transition course..

New courses will start on May 20, 2020 and end on July 29, 2020. All courses comprise of 22 teaching units. The institute will subsidize the course fee for participants of the MPI-CE and IMPRS students who either pass the course exams or have registered participation on at least 80% of the teaching units. Each course will be taught in 60 minute lessons. The course times will be as follows:

  • A2.1: Monday, Wednesday: 14.30 - 15.30
  • A1-2 Transition: Monday, Wednesday: 16:00 - 17:00
